This is an emotion which makes us feel that we can not achieve what some one else has. Many people feel inferior to others , and for this reason we feel they are better than us, so how do we make this positive ?

OH……….THAT HURT !

Who are we to talk of pain or hurt, it is a personal emotion that is felt in an individual way like love, we are not qualified to determine how much another feels love or pain and hurt…….in fact can we truly calculate for ourselves ? Everbody has a distinct threashold of pain or love…………………………the biggest problem however, is how we deal with this pain, you may notice within your group of friends that some will tell you every detail and explanation they feel fit, or others will tell you nothing, they go inside of themselves like a little snail and keep everything in, with time, this is the worst thing we can do, we actually create more pain for ourselves, when we hide away within a fortress or hidden walls we are not only hiding away from that pain, but we are also not allowing any happiness in either, we are depriving ourselves of everything, the help of others to maybe get through our hurt and pain and also any happiness and joy that comes our way, we are holding ourselves hostage alongside our pain. we are talking here of emotional pain,but when this is not attended to correctly it can also give us physical pain through an illness that we create by holding on to our inical pain.

At times, if we allow ourselves to cry, it can be the best medicine, it gives you that strength to carry on, and releases a great amount of stress and anxiety, there is nothing wrong with tears, tears can be associated to music, people we see, a smell that is so familiar to us and brings back warm and happy memories, tears can also be for happiness, they are not always associated with sadness.

We are all different and behave and react  in different ways, when we open up to another person, it actually takes alot of courage and trust,within ourselves and with the other person. Even if you think you know you neverreally know how they will react or respond and that will always be out of your control. In keeping them out, you keep the risk of dissappointment and pain out. But in keeping them out, as I mentioned before we keep the happiness also out. We all have secrets and things we do not want to share with the outside world, but there are others that when we share, we are helping ourselves

Never feel bad to share your pain, it is good for us to talk, to cry to share, to be who we really are.

SPRING CLEAN …………………..

Yes, it’s that time of year again………..spring clean time, however if we take a few tips on house cleaning, we can have a beautiful clean home everyday, so when those unexpected guests arrive, everything is just so, don’t you find that many times your home is perfect, really picture perfect, but the day you are slightly less organised, the visitors roll in, has this happened to you ? well maybe this quick little article can help to stop that happening again…………and lets keep the anxiety and stress levels down………….

Do you tidy around before you go to bed, collect coffee cups, place cushions neatly on the sofa, collect magazines, newspapers etc,  this is a great help if you are going of to work the following morning, or if you were to have some one calling, when you awake everything in your lounge is neat and tidy and it makes you feel good in the morning, as it is probably the first thing you see, while making your coffee, the same with dirty dishes, never leave dishes in the sink, hopefully you will have a dishwasher and can pop them away, but, if not, never leave them, there is nothing worse than dishes the following morning, a nightmare ! and also your kitchen will not look clean. If everything is in its place, it is pleasing to the eye, and will give the impression of being clean.

Make the bed in the morning, never leave the bed unmade…….it is a 2 sec., job, especially if you use a duvet, a well made bed, always looks the perfect part…dont procrastinate, there is always something to do in a home, if you concentrate on one room a week, by really cleaning deep, maybe one day the windows, another the woodwork etc., by the end of the week you have totally cleaned the whole room, plus your normal house work, when you have a vacuum, your work is halved, with a brush, which are used a lot on tiled floors, at times they  only serve to brush it from one side of the room to the other ! a vacuum saves time and shows an instant clean,

It is also a great help when you plan ahead, knowing what and when you are going to do things, at times, once you are top of everything 20 mins a day is enough to get everything fresh and organised, use baskets where you can for storage and try to wash just once a week, I personally make lists, like I do for everything, this keeps me on track and up to date with my jobs, and if something throws me of track, I can refer to my list and see what I still have to do, great control!! However happy spring cleaning to you all……………………….The big secret here is for you to be in control of things and not things in control of you……..

TO SLEEP WE GO ………………………………..

When we sleep at night, it is like passing by a factory for a renovation or restauration………if we sleep badly, we can suffer from insomnia and the following day are output will be minimum, however there are a few little secrets to stop us falling into the arms of Morfeo !

If you have difficulties in sleeping, or you fall asleep quickly but later wake, or you have a habit of sleep, wake sleep wake every evening you are suffering from insomnia. These ups and downs are symptoms of insomnia, this is telling you that something is wrong within your body and you should start to try to find what it is that causes this and do away with it. 

There are many causes for insomnia, some are very well know, like taking in to much coffee, cola drugs etc., working at night and having to sleep in the day, there are also mental illness’ that can provoke the change in pattern when you sleep such as Alzheimer and esquizafrenia.

Although the most common in adults and the present society we live in today, is an accumulation of tension during the day, it can be within the way we are made, if we are over responsible with everything we do , and worry about everything and therefore collect all the stress within, as the time to sleep comes round we just find it a total impossibility, this then turns into an ever turning ball, we sleep badly and feel badly all day and each day can make it worse.

 When we do not have fixed hours and set hours for sleeping and resting, when we do not see the necessity to rest between our working hours and to realise that work is not everything, our brain needs a little change from time to time.This will enable the brain to rest and sleep with no interference.

Another reason can be our modern-day technology, phones, tablets,laptops etc., should not be in the bedroom and we should shut them down at least one hour before you sleep.

We need to sleep, it is essential to us for many reasons, not just the obvious…………insomnia really can be a torture, as we need to sleep at night, to be awake to enjoy the following day, most of the things we do during the day time, depends on how well we have slept the night before, the one mistake you should avoid is to start taking medication to help you sleep, other methods should be tried before taking medication, there are many sleeping treatment units attached to hospitals now, that can find the cause of insomnia and give the correct treatment to follow.

What would you do if one day you were confronted with the question, what would you include on a list of necessities ? We never really think of these things as we have such an abundance of everything that would take care of lifes necessities, you could write a very long list… but in fact we need relatively few essential things, clean water, food, hygiene , fresh air , clothing , some form of shelter , exercise, love and a feeling of freedom. We also need to be one to one with nature, this would help to keep stress down. Today we forget about nature being a natural healer, for many things, we can take a pill for this a pill for that !! Nature can give you energy when your on low gas, it offers tranquility to the busy mind and uplifts are spirit , and all you need…

VALENCIA FALLAS FIESTA……………………..

This is how Valencia (Spain) receives the spring……………..The streets are filled with joy and happiness for the big Valencian Fiesta of Fallas, this is pure tradition art and anyone who has love for this land. This fiesta is in honour of Saint Joseph (Jose) who was a carpenter and the Spanish also know this day as Fathers Day,

The Fallas of Valencia, a festival declared intangible Heritage of Humanity, Prior to the ceremony the jury visits all of the cities sculptures in order to decide upon the winners.

The above young Valencian women who wear this very elaborate and expensive dress wear, are known as falleras.

In Valencia, this ancient tradition led to the burning of all the accumulated waste, in particularly the wood, at the end of the winter on the feast day of Saint Joseph. Given the reputed humorous character of the Valencian people, it was natural that the people began to burn “figures of well-known people and situations” events of the past year.
