December is here, yes it’s Christmas time again, for some this is a wonderful time of year and for others it is a time they dread…….but, for which ever group you belong to, unless you literally just drop of the map, you will have more to do this month than any other, so, you need to prepare with time, to avoid added stress and anxiety. This is where list making becomes essential, take a quiet moment and sit and write your list of things that you need to accomplish before Christmas Eve, gifts,food, table settings etc., even your map if you are going away for Christmas,oil change,window wipers, passport dates, you would not be the first to find you have an out of date passport, what ever you plans make that list, if you can’t manage it in one go, carry it around with you and add to it as things pop into your mind. Ways to lighten that load can vary, presents can be wrapped as you acquire them, instead of leaving them to be done all in one go, if you are Father Christmas Chef, then get the food list done, top priority and start to buy early, make sure you have freezer room and save on Christmas week price’s !! if you have everything indoors before the second week of December, it is a big weight taken from your shoulder’s, leaving just a little list for the extra fresh items you need, make your table guest list and prepare your Christmas cutlery and place setting’s everything can be cleaned or refreshed now if your store it in a dust free zone, as to keep the Christmas shine, serviette and table decor can be also prepared in advance.
Remember, that most of us when decorating our homes for Christmas, need to remove our normal decoration, so prepare a box and place for them to be stored doing all this at the same time and last-minute will only create stress levels to rocket. Once you have your home organised, don’t forget yourself, what do you want to wear over the Christmas period ? start to organise your clothes and then forget about it, you should aim to be totally finished and prepared no later than the 20th December, then take four days of relax or as near as possible, if you work outside your home, you will be pleased to use this method, who wants to work all day, then do a double shift when you get home ? not many people I know, so if you start to prepare now, just a little a day will give you a free stress and anxiety Christmas, all you have to do is wait for the Christmas magic to happen and enjoy.

WE are so close to the start of 2022 we don’t need an excuse, but most of us like to set the trend of the new year, with our new proporsitions so let’s take the POWER of NOW and actually use it, to our advantage..we need to find our true inner self, we must become calm and quiet, and start to listen to our inner voice, our true voice, that doe’s not let us down or tell us a tale of what we should do, our inner voice is a precious gift that we all have, but we do not give it true recognition, it is the voice that will always guide us to where we want to go, you do not need the how of this, have faith, have faith in yourself and the ability that you have to get there, set your mind totally on your vision of what you want, and don’t wander from this, when you find your mind is straying, call it back, keep it where you want it, you really are in control, you have to realise that who controls your life is you, we have many obstacules that try to sway us away, people give us responsibilities and problems that take us from our path, but we have to be strong and true to ourselves, this is not a selfess point of view, it is what you need to get where you want to be, we all like to help others but there are times in our lifes that we must help ourselves first, it is important that you also feel as good as the people we help, you have a right, a strong right, to be who you want to be, and not what others decide for you, this is your life, and everyone wants to be as happy as the one next to you, and at times we make those people happy, which will give you happiness, short term, but, you have the right to feel satisfied and happy with your path in life, and we can only do this by following our inner voice and the power of now, why wait any longer… it is your birthright to be who you truly want to be, nothing is impossible, if we apply every tool we have, if we are constant, and we truly want it, take this opportunity to set your goal and make 2022 the most amazing time of your life, to change your life and at long last live your life…………don’t worry about how, just set your intention and set your mind into your vision.

How many of you still send cards for Christmas, Birthdays and just to say a thank you or Hi how are you? The art of card-sending sadly is something that is fading away, with emails and ecards and all the modern technology you can think of, there is still nothing like receiving a card to keep and to love, it’s something special and still loved by many……….
I wanted to share with you today another way for you to send more of you in a card which will make it more enjoyable and heartfelt, by adding your mindfulness into the mix….. give this a try…close your eyes and connect with your heart, hear and feel that heartbeat and what it is saying to you, imagine the person you are sending your card to and the sensation you experience, make your card writing a lovely moment and not something that is rushed and rather more of an obligation, take care with your words and imagine the message as it is received to your sender, allow yourself to enjoy the moment that a card and a pen can truly give you……..

LET IT OUT…………….
Have you ever thought how beneficial it would be for you, now or any time of the year to take a moment for you? Maybe just five minutes out of your busy day to breathe consciously, you would be totally amazed at the result, you will feel calm centered and absolutely ready to take on the rest of your day……
Find a fabulous comfy cushion, a make it your own…..press down gently on those sitting bones, stretch out your spine, make it as long as you can, let your shoulders roll down, become comfortable within yourself…. and place your hands gently on your knees……….now, slowly close your eyes, and focus as much as you can on your inner self, say to yourself, I am calm, focused and ready for your daily tasks ahead, now tell yourself this a few times, until you are sure you have the message loud and clear.
This is also a good time to bring out your energy within, go on your hands and knees and arch your back, just like a cat when it stretches, and start to circle your hips a few times, this will curve your spine and pull your tummy in tight, but be aware not to add tension to your neck and shoulders, in this position take five breaths, the trick is in exhaling and then keeping those tummy muscles tight breathing in, this is going to force a stretch in the spine and back, a great way to life your energy.

THIS CHRISTMAS CAN BE MAGICAL…………
We are into the month of December, so the count down is on, and it is going to fly by, I promise you quicker than any other time of the year…… we all seem to be getting excited this year, as it looks as if we could be looking at a fairly normal celebration time with our friends and family, if, nothing drastically changes at the last minute, let’s keep those fingers crossed and wish for the atmosphere of years gone by, no table restrictions and the joy of all your family in one place………
So, the pressure is on, to make this an exceptional occasion, you have had plenty of time to think about it, so let’s hope your ideas are flowing, you need to be thinking of all the original touches you can come up with, the taste buds, the budget and of course your great artistic skill levels….. but, don’t forget you can never go wrong with a typical Christmas Lunch, it will be perfect and super decorate your table…. and don’t forget you may need a vegan or vegetarian within the mix
And never forget to sprinkle the Christmas magic throughout your home, it really does look beautiful with the little lights and candles, after the period we have all been through, I think many of us are also looking forward to dressing in the Christmas spirit, it’s so nice to dress up for an occasion, and what a fabulous excuse…..
One of the real reasons behind Christmas is to be able to give thanks for everything we have in our life, gratitude is a wonderful thing, it also gives us an opportunity to be filled with joy and hope and to start to look forward to the future. Whether we dine in fine style or dress like movie stars the most important part of this occasion is the love we share and show, never forget the love we have within and around us, that is what truly matters, lots of love to you all!
