Have you ever thought how beneficial it would be for you, now or any time of the year to take a moment for you? Maybe just five minutes out of your busy day to breathe consciously, you would be totally amazed at the result, you will feel calm centered and absolutely ready to take on the rest of your day……

Find a fabulous comfy cushion, a make it your own…..press down gently on those sitting bones, stretch out your spine, make it as long as you can, let your shoulders roll down, become comfortable within yourself…. and place your hands gently on your knees……….now, slowly close your eyes, and focus as much as you can on your inner self, say to yourself, I am calm, focused and ready for your daily tasks ahead, now tell yourself this a few times, until you are sure you have the message loud and clear.

This is also a good time to bring out your energy within, go on your hands and knees and arch your back, just like a cat when it stretches, and start to circle your hips a few times, this will curve your spine and pull your tummy in tight, but be aware not to add tension to your neck and shoulders, in this position take five breaths, the trick is in exhaling and then keeping those tummy muscles tight breathing in, this is going to force a stretch in the spine and back, a great way to life your energy.
