Have you ever given it a thought, that we are afraid to be who we really are? This can be all the time or at certain times in our life, but when we do this we are taking so many opportunites away from ourselves, so why do we do this ? The answer to this can be hidden away in a number, a large number of reasons

Why are we afraid to give ourselves everything we want in life, why would we want to deny ourselves these things, when we are afraid to dream big or small is it because we feel we will never obtain that dream, so are we more afraid of the failure inside of that instead of the success, do we protect ourselves in some bizarre way of not allowing things to transform in our daily life, just to avoid the pain a failure can bring, which brings us to, are we afraid to feel, in all areas, do we hold back in relationships for the reason of not getting hurt, do we hold back in business so that the spot light is not on us, or our failure is not seen so much………………….but what about our success? are we afraid of recognition when it is due to us…………….to make it in life is a great feeling, it is not something we should shy away from, to ask for help is not a crime and none of these things we should fear…………your are worth all this and much more when you wish to reach for the stars, go for it never be afraid.

Another strange concept we have regarding being afraid is to lose something,may I remind you that it is very probable that whatever you are concerned about losing, does not BELONG to you in the first place, when we look from this point of view, do you not see it ,slightly different? It is our beliefs that create a lot of our fear, never be afraid to follow your heart, it is the most important organ we have and yes this does belong to us, when we follow this and our intuition and gut feeling we should never be afraid, it may not give you the final success you wish for at the time, but it is the best thing to do in that moment in question, it guides us to where we need to be, maybe to make a change, this is high on the afraid list, change, change is a wonderful thing it allows us to be who we really are, or it at least brings us closer step by step to where we want to go or what we want in life, believe in what you want, stand up to your core belief and again never be afraid to stand alone, you are stronger, you have the strength to do it , and should hold no fear, if you don’t put yourself out there, you are not acting on your goals and dreams you need to bring them to you also, and they are not afraid of you, they are just waiting to be of assistance, never be afraid to try.

Never be afraid to put extreme effort in, if you don’t do your absolute best, then you can’t expect to achieve anything different from what everybody else is doing, remember we are all unique and take different approaches on things love, business and even life, don’t become obsessed with the fact that your life will end, we all know that and can’t change it, we are born and then we die, however in between there is a tremendous adventure for us to have and if we are afraid your life will never really begin. It is never to late to live the life you desire and have truly wanted for a long time, age, situation and circumstances are not to be afraid of, set your mind, get into the right mindset, where fear cannot live, it is blocked from that zone………….Until you let go and spread your wings you will never know how far you can fly…………this is your life, we hold on and hold on to things, things that we really do not want anymore or have no use for, and you know why because we are afraid to let go !! Never be afraid to get out there into this wonderful world we are fortunate to live in , get out there have a good look, feel it walk around and never forget it is your legs which are going to lift you up and take you home, so why be afraid this depends on you and only you.

You will never enjoy life if you are afraid to have fun and be you, within all your glory, be generous let the world know how good you are and the talents and abilities you are hiding through fear, share them with others, sharing is caring and you have no idea how good that will feel for you and the others around you.

Oh, these little hands, how they fill our hearts, at times I wonder how can something so tiny and unknown to us,mean so much to us within a second of meeting ! Wow it is a second to fall in love, the love of our lives, alove that never ends, no matter what. It is true when they say that the most precious jewel we wear around our neck are the arms of our loving children. How we long to feel that hug, no matter how big they now are, to young mothers I would say hug and hug all day if you feel it, the time goes so quickly, you blink your eyes and your baby or babies are no longer……… the strange thing about the role of a Mother is that you think about your children day and night, it never eases up, even if they are not with you, you will love them in a way they will never understand, until maybe they are parents themselves. And then they must be ready as being a parent means loving your children more than you’ve ever loved yourself…………

It is important that your children always know how they were wished for and longed for and certainly wanted long before their arrival, the one thing most parents have in common is our wish for them to know how much they are loved, this is something that cannot be measured or seen,it is an emotion that is felt and cannot be calculated, they need to know that no matter what happens in their life, the ups and downs that we all have, you are always there for them, no matter what………Do children really see and believe how much we love them ? it is not a habit that we collect along the way, they are and should realise that they are the best thing that ever happened to us in this lifetime or any other.

Are you conscious of how much strength we can gain through our children and that many times even when they are older and young adults, they are probably still your WHY to many goals and wishes you have. There is nothing in this world more precious to us than our children, you wish with all your heart that when they think of you they remember you for your love and how you cherish them, not for the material things you provided. Quality time does not mean what you spend,you can show love by your behaviour for and with them. Motherhood is a choice, you make everyday to put someone else’s happiness and well being ahead of yours. Our children will be our children always, we will love them and support them no matter what.

As the saying goes “The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain, let me include and my nice clean washing and leaves puddles on my drive,” The weather was spectacular this morning, nearly 20 degrees and this afternoon,it slowly started to cloud over and the heavens opened, for us all to enjoy, we really do need this rain, we have had very little rain this winter,and the farmers and in general, everyone really does need a certain amount of rain as to not upset the general flow of things, it has been raining now for nearly an hour and the thunder can be heard, around the mountains with an echo down the valley…….it really is very pleasant and perfect for my topic of today, I was sat here pondering on my topic for today,and decided that Friday was a great day to dedicate a little time to thinking of how our week had gone……………………..

Are we happy with the outcome, do we use our time well, have we had good results? It is a good day to take stock of what we have done, just before we wind down for the week- end and maybe take on totally different roles in life, we take of our working hats and replace them with mummy and daddy hats or great children hats, the roles we could be taking on are numerous, wife, friend, cleaner carer etc., but we need to take note of the week that has passed us by, are you a list person ? and if so, did you manage to tick of everything on your list, do you feel satisfied………………When we take the time to think about ourselves instead of what we are doing or should be doing, we generally will get good results, especially if we are honest 100% , it is a time when we can clearly see are strong and weak points, we obtain clarity, which we all need in our life, this is a great guidance for us, it helps with the direction we should be going in.

Take the time for you, because unless you are very fortunate and have someone to look out for you 24/7, you are responsible for that, and a great amount of pleasure can be obtained, when you know how well you care for yourself, if that is your case, Friday is a lovely day to sit with your favourite tea or coffee and think a little about your week , maybe prepare yourself a nice inviting bath and soak away your week in pure pleasure, you are spoiling and caring for yourself, but, also you are obtaining your clarity and forming your opinions on where you have been positive and maybe even negative during the week. – Then take the time to prepare one of your favourite dishes, full of goodness and nutrients that you need, enjoy this meal, take the time to enjoy it, there is no rush today, it’s Friday, and hopefully a nice comfortable bed and peaceful rest, where the time tomorrow is not as important as a weekday !
