Summer has gone and the winter is creeping in, and most of our clothes need to be packed away and the winter wollies need to come out, and it is also the perfect time to have that long dreaded sort out, we all know we need to do it, but we put it of and put it of……………..

It is possible at the moment and maybe not to far into the future, even after you have changed your seasonal wardrobe around, you will just open the wardrobe and think you have nothing to wear, and there is a reason for this, well, maybe more than one, you will be looking at clothes that for some reason or another you really like and in some ways things you really love, but, the problem may possible lay in the fact that they do not fit you, or maybe not as you would wish, there are there because you have a promise with yourself to get back into them, by losing those couple of extra pounds that separate you from the wonderful item you long to wear, I would never suggest you get rid of that item, no, you need to keep it (providing you have a possible chance) to wear it again, that is down to your judgement and only your judgement. You need to remove all the items that do not fit you, put them aside, box them away or place them in another wardrobe, you should now be looking at a beautiful wardrobe full of clothes that really fit you.

When you take on the challenge of organising your seasonal wardrobe, because it is a challenge, try to keep certain things in mind, when you are accessing a garment for this season you need to think, do you love it ? Is it useful for you and your way of life? Is it beautiful (in your eyes) ?Would it be difficult to replace, if you had a change of thought ? Did you wear it last year? Have you worn it in the last 5 years? Does it now fit my image of now ?

These questions, if you answer them honestly will help you choose what is what for you this winter, some times we don’t have the heart to part with things for whatever reason, but if you do there are many great places you can leave your unwanted items and they can be of a great help to others, I place all mine in a container which is collected by the local authorities to help others, but you may wish to choose the Red Cross your local church or community center, there are many to choose from.

When rearranging your wardrobe I would suggest that you place all skirts on the same rail, trousers and blousers etc., jumpers I usually stack in colours, this way you will find it easier to put outfits together without having to rummage through stacks of clothes and general disorder. If you take up a couple of these little hints to help you through this process I am sure you will find yourself looking at a new bright wardrobe, even to the point of feeling you have a new collection of clothes, and you will never have the problem of not knowing what to wear again.

This is a good question, if your answer is yes……………………..Do it !
