HOLIDAY PLAN- STRESS-FREE…………………..
You may be thinking, but hold on we have just got over Christmas, but did you know that many people go skiing in the month of February, or you could be preparing for the Easter break and of course the annual summer holiday! Whichever it may be stress-free is the way to go……..holiday times should not be a time of draining you of all the energy you have, however, if you are trying for total perfection you are going to stress yourself right out….just try to find a point of balance between what you want from your destination and what you are looking for yourself, you do not have to do what people expect you to do, within the dates of annual holidays.
Wherever you may be going the organization is very important, but not stressful………give yourself time before your departure, don’t leave everything until the last week to do everything, the things you need to buy can be bought over a period of time and put away, this can be normal high street shopping or via the internet, if you are shopping local, tie it in with a nice day in Town, a coffee or light lunch, break the day up and enjoy the whole sensation of holiday preparation,make and list and make the most of your time.
If by nature you are a little control freak, you are going to have a bad time, you cannot do everything, well you can but why, there is no need, delegate and ask for help, you may find that others loved to be asked and enjoy knowing they are helping you and sharing the load, team work can go really well.
Make the planning as simple as possible, if you are going to host the family reunion in your home, make the easiest recipe you know, not the most difficult, this will only add stress, you can also get each family member to bring something with them. Don’t forget also that in between all the organization etc., to rest when necessary, you do not want to sleep or be tired all the duration of your holiday.
Another good point is to remember the word NO it is a simple little word that you maybe do not use as much as you should, using it from time to time can release a lot of stress from coming your way, negotiate and spread the jobs around a little, you do not have to say yes all the time. Having the ability to close your hearing off is very wise, and pull on your great humour, just ignore any kind of conflictive comment, not everyone feels the same circumstances or situations, just change the subject and carry on, you are not backing down or giving in, you are keeping your peace and you are stress free.

Tones and colours that transforms into deep sentiments, Colour’s that shape and forms our lives, our style and well being. Baby pink, rose colour, this could be a hopeless romantic that is totally unaware of who they are, this colour can represent joy,tenderness,simplicity and innocence, it softens the attitude of the person that wears it, and we get a peek at who they really are, there are romantic’s and they don’t know. This colour can bring you positivity and in style is one of the most pretty colours, it can be seen in your clothes,your home little touches here and there and probaly in your favourite flowers,it is a colour that blends into any part of your life and in any season.
Red is for the brave and passionate, it gives you security and governs your personality, if you have red in your life, it’s because you are sure of yourself and step firmly in your life,it represents energy and passion, people who have a tendency to this colour will start and see everything through to the end, overcoming all obstacles, it gives you positive values and you have pure passion in everything you do, the feel the strength in a home marked with red, and of course red roses can say many things.
Green, may be a colour you need around you, if your childhood was spent in the country rural areas you may hold the picture of green pastures,beautiful tree’s and rich green bush areas, this colour inspires life,inside and out,a house without plants,is a house without life,green is also a great stress reliever it takes your mind away from urban streets,highways and traffic. Black, deep purple can really define you and who you are, maybe a night owl who finds comfort in the night waiting for inspiration in the twilight to come, black can be elegant,seductive,rock and roll,simple even masculine, it is very versatile and can set the mood for many scenes,black like the night can bring tranquility where your creative side can flourish,incense can fill your sense of smell and within tones, lavender can bring you the relaxation.

So, eggs, easter – what’s the connection? Easter celebrates a new life, Jesus after dying on the cross, rose from the dead, this gave us the insight that life could win over death, therefore eggs are associated with the Christian festival of Easter.
A long time ago, maybe even back as far as pagan times, eggs were used in pagan practices pertaining to spring. For many years eggs, are the symbol of fertility, rebirth, and beginnings, we can see this in Egyptian mythology and Hindu scriptures.
The earliest egg, given as a present was normally hen or duck eggs, decorated in bright colors, later came egg-shaped toys (17th/18th century). Then in Victorian times, we found beautiful silk/satin lined boxes filled with chocolates, then came the fabulous gem of all gems “The Faberge Egg” made for the Russian Czar and Czarina by Carl Faberge (19th century).
The 19th century show the first solid chocolate egg, this fashion was led by the French and Germans, who introduced beautiful artistic confectionery. Later followed by the rest of Europe, and chocolate molds started to be introduced, which lead us to our well-known chocolate eggs of today.
