Depression, that terrible word and that terrible feeling, the person that suffer’s from depression, is really the only one who knows how terrible it is, so what is depression, it can be a feeling of sadness, you can be irritable and angry, you can feel tired but unable to sleep, your meals can be a nightmare, your whole cycle goes out of sync with you and your life before or your family life, people do not understand you or the pressure you suffer or what you are generally going through, you feel you are a failure, not good enough, your insecurities grow and you just feel empty, many confuse depression with anxiety, but there is a difference, with depression you have the tendency to not really care about anything, where as with anxiety you will care too much about everything and if you have both these feelings, which is possible, your life will be in complete turmoil , your brain chemistry, hormones, genetic and personal risk factors all play a role here, the why to depression is still not clearly defined, the depressed mind will lose perspective and will tend to advocate solutions to intense emotional pain, this is when you must care for your loved one in the event of signs showing the want to harm themselves, you must seek assessment immediately from professional help.

Depression is not a sign of weakness, it means you have been strong for far too long. many can hide depression for a while, and they do try to, but people close to them will see the signs, the human body can only take so much, and in some direction will manifest its ill at ease,it can be through depression or an illness, we should try to never push ourselves to that point, but it is easier said than done, we take on all kinds of responsibility, that at times we should share,but there is not always some one there to share with, when we are left by a loved one can also be a trigger point for many and we don’t see our true worth, we really are diamonds in every way and it is not always are fault, but we take on the blame,to make others feel better. So how can we avoid this terrible thing named depression, again easier said than done, but if we keep ourselves aware of our feelings and know ourselves well enough when we start to dive into a place we really don’t know all that well, and react, we may stand a chance to keep on the upper side of this, we are all worthy beings in every way and nobody or situation has the right to take that away from you, regardless of the situation, if we are no longer loved, by our loved one’s, believe that you are worthy of love and will love again and beloved, it is what you believe and think that will help you through any situation whether it be a change in your circumstances for what ever reason it is, what you think of yourself, is more important that what is happening around you, many dreadful things can happen, but you as a person and how you value yourself does not have to change, you may change your circumstances, but we have the ability to adapt, it can be hard, very hard but we can do it. We have the knowledge and power within ourselves to do this, when you are on a downward slope, write down what you are thinking about, list everything, then spot the negative thoughts, look at them long and hard and change them into a positive, change the thought, this can help, and if this negative thought returns, change it immediately for the positive one you have written down and changed. I know that some one suffering from depression right now, will find this hard, but changing your thoughts can help, it is what you need to do long-term, this little technique is more adapt for those that are more aware of depression creeping in . Full blown depression can be treated in many ways, but whether it be with medication or other methods what you think in a positive way, can only help you to get out of the fog, it is a long process, but try to imagine a car surrounded by thick fog, it can not see anything around it, it does not know where it is going, but it has the help of the lights, that will clear the view a little maybe only a couple of meters, but it can move forward those couple of meters, we are the same when everything around us is foggy, just go those couple of meters, one step at a time, don’t rush, write down your thoughts and take the steps into a positive change, one thought at a time, remember what we think is who and what we are, and we are valuable human beings every singe one of us.

I’m back, I’m back………….can’t believe it, one thousand apologies to everyone. My small internet problem turned into 12 days of agony !!! Most of you will know that my relationship with my little box, as I affectionately call it (my computer) do not always get along as we should, however on this occasion we were not to blame, it was my WiFi box, what a disaster, I won’t go into the boring details, as I am on a high at the moment being able to connect with you all again, and catch up as best I can, please accept my apologises if I miss something of importance and please feel free to let me know again if necessary. 

I truly feel as if I was missing a part of me, I missed my interaction with you all so much, do you think I could have an addiction ? And there I was worrying about taking a vacation, maybe the universe forced me into this break !! The good news is, I do feel very empowered and can’t wait to start doing new posts, I hope you have not suffered too much by my reblogging, it was the only solution I had with my phone !! Here and now, there is no more, yet, it is everything. Think a little the past has gone we cannot change anything there, and the future never comes….. so we are left with here and now, your moment is always now,the future is always to come. The moment is now, now is actual,now is today and so you are always in the present now !! We have nothing else, maybe you think it is a cruel trap of life, but it actually is quite the opposite, it’s the key to the happy future you dream about, meaning you should not wait, it should be present,so that your moment is full of happiness and love.

Listen to your inner voice… you may feel this is difficult to do, and easier to write about than to do,and you may be right, it really is a process, it is a way we need to take everyday, it requires training and insistance, you start by listening to what your innerself is telling you and do this as often as you can, and pay special attention to any message you hear more than once, something that is permanantley going through your mind, when you hear this voice don’t judge it,just take it in observe that you are there and the voice is interior, your old voice patterns will start to fade,and your inner voice will be heard more clearly,you are now in your here and now and this is your first step to giving the attention you need to listen to your mindfulness.

Decide where you wish to focus this new energy when we are open to the present, we realise that we are not as trapped as we think,this new attention we are giving to our mindfulness will allow us to see that our reality can be changed by the way we look and the attitude we have regarding this. An exercise you can do here is when you go to bed at night, feel what you want, focus truly on this, because what we do at night has a stronger connection with the universe it is more important than what we do during the day. While we are doing this giving focus to what we want, that is where our energy will go, focus your energy onto what is important to you. Remember, nothing is written, the best way to predict your future is making it……………

We have the capacity to imagine, to dream. Creative visualization is the bridge we can use to materealise our dreams, the important factor here is to feel, it would be like thinking our dreams and not feeling our dreams and imagination, when we feel we believe,and when we believe we create.
