Do we really realise how important forgiveness is, many things happen to us during our life time, some effect more than others and some may stay with us for life, whether we are conscious of this is also something we don’t always see or realise, at times we can carry a burden, a sadness deep hurt within and do not give it that attention it needs, but it does affect our everyday life, we are maybe not as open as we would like to be, maybe we are incapable of loving in a true fashion because of this experience, but it is buried deep in the mind, you maybe don’t even give it thought on a daily basis if at all, but it is there, and then on the other hand it can be something that torments your every hour and truly disrupts your life………..this is why the importance of forgiveness is important, do not confuse this with just forgetting about something, it is not the same, so you may be thinking how can I forgive something that I don’t have clear in my mind or remember, I understand your concern, but when we truly forgive from the heart situations in our past , it is easier to move forward feeling clear, lighter and not carrying a burden of anyone or anything.

 

Learning to forgive and forget is not easy and I would never indicate that it is, but I would insist of the well-being it can and does bring to us, we need it to be free, to feel free to move forward. We all deserve to be free and to live this life in the best way we can, and a free and loving forgiving heart is a good way to start.

NEW ROUTINE …………………………….

new routine 1

So, how has your week gone so far, for  those of you that have finished your holidays and are making your way back to normality I imagine some things have been hard. The whole routine we have held in August has now gone , its amazing how just one month can throw us so of key, what happened to the routine in the other months, we feel this change so strongly because the holiday (summer) routine is so laid back, we raise when we want to, even though we may still be early risers it is different, we take coffee and have breakfast/brunch at a slow easy pace, we sometimes even change our normal diet and spoil ourselves we little treats we might not have time for in a normal routine. 

Even if we stay at home, the coffee tastes better and even the fresh air smells  in a different way, everything seems to be more enjoyable, probably due to are relaxed state……

One of the best things about changing our routine is that it is a golden opportunity to make it a new routine, nothing says we have to swing right back into that old routine, if you have been looking for a change, now is your chance, in fact you can change your routine when ever you want, if that is your wish, do it !! but stick to it, this is the major problem, not changing the routine but sticking to it, whatever the change maybe you are looking for, you can do it, whether it be sleeping better, getting the hours you need, making adjustments to your schedule allowing time for new things, it is just a question of re-organisation, write everything on a piece a paper that you would like to incorporate into your new routine, now take the days of the week and start to fill it in, giving yourself time to enjoy each thing new or old…….take your time, you can fit everything in if you give it enough thought and TLC, remember the word can’t do does not exist in our vocabulary……………. If you have children, they will be back into their school routine and this will give you more hours and in some cases take some away, but give your routine balance, it is important for you and your family.

This is the big message, stop wishing and get to it ! we all have this choice, new routine ,new habits  a new choice, when we start to realise that our life is made up of our choices, and the chances and changes we make, at times we hide behind circumstances and situations, but if you think back about something you really wanted or did, did you do it ? did you get it ? if you did, which I am pretty sure you did, think and see it was due to you making that choice, that change and took that chance, don’t hesitate, go for it and enjoy ❤

LAUGH AT STRESS !………………………….

It is highly recommended that to get us through difficult times, times of anxiety and nervous spells that tend to be very much the mode in these modern times, we should never give up laughter, no matter what. We always need to laugh and smile. 

It is one of the oldest methods that we know of, but highly effective, to laugh in our day-to-day , and a wonderful remedy for depression, to laugh releases so many positive things for us, it can only bring us good things and feelings.

When we laugh and smile, it come’s with a multitude of benefits both physically and mentally, when we smile we reinforce our immune system and reduces stress. Many studies have shown that laughter reduces the level of cortisol and adrenaline, hormones which are responsible for depression and stress. It is also known that laughter helps to raise our happiness, are want to live life to the full and helps to open us up to  thinking and functioning in a better way. . Loud laughter is the best for lifting sadness from us, as we laugh we release endorphins  responsable for a great part of our well-being. Also laughter has a lot to do with our life span, so the habit of laughing will help us to have a longer life.

There is always a reason to laugh and smile in our life, no matter what bad moments we may be going through each day gives us many opportunities to laugh and smile, make a list of the last 10 things that have made you laugh and keep it where you will always find it, the next time you are going through a bad moment take your list, read it well and remember how you laughed.  Laughter can also improve your relationships with others, it also has that benefit to it, when we laugh and smile we have an impact on others, that provokes a response of the same from them, laughter is highly contagious, it is also a very attractive point for someone looking on, we as individuals also feel better and more confidant. A smile can open many doors for us both on a personal level and a professional one, we feel better and the people around us also , it is one of the best business cards we can ever have, it presents us to others as stable, comfortable in our own skin and have a happy well-being about us. The perfect anti-depressant is a natural and sincere smile, we have to feel good about ourselves without any inferior complex of any kind, this is felt by us and seen by the world around us.

To laugh everyday and to be happy is maybe the best advise anyone can give you, when you remember that this is your choice and depends on no one but you, what is there to stop you, don’t let anyone or anything take this away from you.

HAPPINESS……………………..

So what is happiness to you ? Do you think we really know what it is and why are we permanently looking for it, we all have so many versions of what happiness is, how many of us realise that we cannot look for happiness in others or outside of us, happiness is within and we need to act to bring it out………………when we are looking to others for our happiness, it is impossible for us to find, it is also impossible for us to hold a relationship with someone else, we need to create our own stability before we can share, we all seem to look for that wonderful happy ending, but it is so important to first look for the happy beginning, at times when a personal relationship goes wrong, we still try to find that happy ending, maybe the one we have dreamed of for a long time, but it is important to realise that at times too much water has run under the bridge and no happy ending is going to be found, this is when the next happy beginning will come into play, when the time is right.

When you feel that your world is falling apart, keep calm and create a clear safe space in your mind, just because your world is falling apart it does not mean you are also to fall apart, when everything seems crazy, you be calm, this is a big order,but absolutely possible, that is down to you. Look for ways to see the things you need to do in order to live a successful life in a better light, this is one of the main keys to happiness. Don’t search for happiness, it is far better to create it, happiness is not a goal in life, it is a result of your habits, create your happiness based on happenings is temporary, happy habits are as addictive as bad habits.

Never let your happiness depend on something you may lose, try hard not to fall into this trap, look around you, and see what really matters and stop focusing on just a temporary route of happiness. Time really does have a wonderful way of showing us what really matters, happiness is not tailor-made, it comes from your actions. One of the biggest fundamental mistakes people make regarding happiness is looking for happiness outside of themselves, happiness is something you are and it comes from the way you think, do you see, the importance of keeping calm.

As you get older you will understand more and more that it’s not about what you look like, or what you own, it’s all about the person you become, and that others see you in this way, that you are loved for what you are, and your happiness shows from the outside in.

IT CAN BE YOUR DREAM !……………

ARE YOU PREPARED ? …..

For what ? you may ask, for anything I reply, if you stop and think about things many of us spend most of our lives preparing , but for what are we preparing, do we prepare in a conscious fashion, I think many things we do, but we also learn lots of little incidentals along the way, that just add to our general preparation in life.

This is so true, if we were prepared for questions of the heart, deception in friendship and general bad behaviour from people we do not expect, being prepared would never hurt anyone, but sadly we are not ! I personally don’t think this is a question of preparation, when we are hurt through another person, at times it can be more of a shock reaction, when we are spoken to in a way we are not expecting, when things are said, that maybe in normal circumstances would never have been said, and of course when the situation has been turned around so much, it is like living in a maze, knowing you will never get out and never be able to explain the true situation, how many situations have had a life time effect on words and situations that get lost in a true life maze. The only preparation that may help in these situations would be on how to handle difficult situations and how to re-act. However it is general knowledge that questions of the heart, concerning people we know, are very different from defusing a situation or giving advise to people who are not in your immediate inner circle.

When we talk of preparation within our education, we are going to benefit big time, when we feel prepared, we acquire an inner confidence, if we are taking exams and know we have prepared well, we sit with more ease, it is the same with your driving test and distinct things which face us in life, when we are talking about maybe an operation or a major moment we need to confront, we will have prepared ourselves within the mind, our mindset will be right and we will feel right !

When we are going to an important meeting for a future job or something you want with all your heart, if you have prepared well, it will show on the outside, your confidence will raise to the surface and the world will witness who you really are and what you want. 

As you move up the staircase of life, you will acquire more and more preparation, it is not something you will always study, it may just come to you along your pathway, it can be a natural thing, where you must use your knowledge to hold onto it, store it away and use it when necessary, it maybe something you witness everyday or hear on a regular basis due to where you work or frequent on a regular basis, always be aware of what is going on around you, let that be part of your preparation .
