Had a great conversation today regarding the mind when it goes like an automatic washing machine on full spin !!! when you can’t see the wood for the trees, and everything just gets bigger instead of resolved. I was also told, in no uncertain tones, that just positive thinking all day long, did not cut it, well…. I could not agree more, you see the positive thinking has its importance, but your mindset is more, that is the number 1 step, when you have the mindset you are able to work through the hurdles that life throw’s at you, the only problem I see here is that when you approach things with this confusion what you are doing is giving way to more confusion and lack…when we chase the bills that have to be paid, everything we are giving out is shouting lack, and of course, we receive more lack, the hours we work and the more we try to catch up is made more difficult by our mindset, remember we are what we think,

A great number of people believe that by thinking in a positive way is eluding the reality of things, this is not true, we are creating our reality every day, by what we do, the action we take, and what we think, and the mindset has to be correct, you know that you can achieve great things, and are on your way to making it happen. Just remember that you don’t always need to overwork yourself to get there……As long as you have a burning desire for what you want and a strong belief that you can achieve it, things should fall into place when the time is right.
When you want success you must reflect on WHO you are, and what GOALS you want to achieve an how many DELAYS you may have to overcome, you have to make a conscious decision to do whatever it takes or is necessary to overcome your delays and reach your goal. Know that your positive mindset will make you aware that your thoughts do impact your reality, your mind must be focused on the road you need to take to reach your goal, the road should have small, specific measurable, and attainable goals, know that failure will only take you forward because you have to see them as opportunities to learn and grow, it is extremely important to have a support system around you family friends and mentors who will guide you along your road to success, and your vision must be very clear in your mind, the more detail the better.

Many also think that only hard work can get you to where you want to go, this has been proven to be untrue, have you heard of the Pareto Principle or maybe the Principle of Least Effort or quite simply the 80/20 Principle, like the truth, it can set you free, you can work less and at the same time you can earn more and enjoy more, the only price is that you need to do some serious 80/20 thinking, we are all exposed to the 80/20 principle at some point in our lives, the principle is quite simply 20% of efforts lead to 80% of results, it is a very powerful concept. 80/20 thinking requires, with practice, enables us to spot the few really important things that are happening and ignore the mass of unimportant things. When you start to analyze this in your own life, you start to see results, when you have the right mindset the road becomes more clear to you and it comes to you the way to go, you do not have to keep turning yourself inside out day after day, IF 20% of what we do leads to 80% of the results and 80% of what we do leads to only 20%, we are wasting 80% of our time on low-value outcomes. In applying the 80/20 principle to creating your ideal life you have to know what you want. When we have a handle on what we want, we can start to look at whether what we have and what we’re doing matches up with these ideals. And then go something about it, you need to focus on what you find easy, you should not devote overly much effort to correcting your weaknesses, you should believe that the highest success in living and the deepest emotional satisfaction comes from building and using your strengths.
The action implications should be plain, go for quality rather than quantity, spend your time and energy reinforcing what is most important to you.80/20 is all about focusing your energy, apply the 80/20 principle to everything in your life and notice how quickly things will change, ask yourself this power question for each area of your life, what would you love to spend 80% of your energy in which area of your life you want to focus on, the great thing about this question is, it opens up your imagination and true desires.
