We all have wonderful things to share, it can be a talent or just the way we are, to pass on to others, Anything that empowers you should be passed on to others and given your full support, even the fun things we do, to keep our inner child alive and well, to go out in the rain and enjoy it, why not, do you find it fun then do it ! Enjoying your home and your favourite place, feeling good with the people around you, you choose.

When you wake up one day and decide that you no longer wish to feel that way,a slow sinking feeling that you also never wish to feel  ever again …So you have to change, you will have many excuses for not being able to make that change, but at the end of the day, they are excuses, being able to change starts with , your decision to change….

Not one of us are perfect, and no one has been deprived of feeling and experimenting pain. We have also, failed, no one missed that either…So, if we know these things do you not think we should be more understanding with ourselves and take it all more within our stride and keep a smile on our faces at all times possible… Live your life full of conviction that no matter what we have to face in our lives, we will stay happy for those who really love us, those who live for us and the ones who gave a life to us.

You are the only one who can make a decision, and you must make a decision, that you are going to move on, keep going in a positive direction, it is not something that will just happen, it is not automatic, you will have to put in the effort and rise to the challenge and prepare yourself mentally, that you don’t care how hard this is, how disappointed you may become, you must not allow this to get the better of you, you need to keep moving with your life, forward all the time, never look or go backwards.

Life is so precious, and we learn this as we go through life, with good and bad experiences along with pain and happiness, we need to live each day fully and reach out to others, however I have to say, if you know that someone does not want you to reach out, stop doing it, do not allow anyone to hurt or put you through sadness and pain anymore, you have to let go ! We have this one life, let’s enjoy it let’s live it to the full and don’t get so worked up about it.

Negative people will bring us down, negative thoughts derail us. Get rid of both! Focus on positive, hang out with positive people and events, when you do this your life will become more energizing by the day.

You need to enjoy your own life without comparing it with that of another………

Yoga 1

The longer you do yoga, the more you enjoy and become addicted, Yoga becomes your thing ! When you truly come to realise the benefits of the practise of yoga, you will find you have increased flexibility, much better muscle strength greater happiness, inside and out, the ability to focus much more and better, and most of all you will learn how to relax, let go of anxiety and sleep much better.

With various types of yoga to choose from, you will find the vinyasa flow to be extremely popular as it differs from what people think of yoga. It’s all about moving within the poses of yoga using your breathe. You won’t be sitting down until the end when you start to enter into back bends and hip openers, this yoga is really good for up -rating your heart beat, and breaking into a sweat…..you can use great music and it can be more upbeat than other yoga types. Apart from being great, from the cardio point of view it is also excellent for mindfulness and meditation. You need to be mindful or forget to breath when you will lose the sequence, you just can’t keep it going ………….

So, what does this do for your figure, yoga can tone and lengthen muscles, when you work in a gym with weights, you will be making your muscles bigger, in yoga you are always working against your own body weight as you go through the poses. Yoga is not about counting calories it is about the lifestyle it brings to you, and the wonderful feeling of well-being and long lean muscles you develop.

At times, it is difficult to keep the motivation going with an exercise plan or a program for well-being, but when we know how good we are going to feel and look afterwards, maybe that is enough to keep us going. If you do not have a strong will to do things alone,  maybe you should consider joining a group, group work can be fun…………. The beauty of yoga is, you can practise where ever you are and just wear good comfy clothes is sufficient.

FOOD & THOUGHT ? ……………………………

Do you over think about the food you are going to eat, or do you eat as not to think ? It’s a good question, don’t you think, many will answer without a thought, where as others will think it over a few times !

This can be a big problem for some, it is an illness, that can take hold of you, just like any other…………..many of us turn to food to compensate something else, it is like an emotional trigger, which can be very useful on a short-term basis, but can be a tremendous weight on our guilt and feeling of failure, are emotions can run wild. A problem associated with food and our personal conduct, such as anorexia or bulimia cannot be cured with a strong will or diet.

When we attack food with a sense of guilt, over weight,emotions over food, being overweight can be a love/hate relationship which are life friends with people who suffer from a food disorder, this is in fact a very recent type of disorder, that is being acknowledged by the medical profession. Previously this disorder did not have a name and was just mixed in with anorexia and bulimia. Today it is given the attention it deserves and help and treatment is available for those in need. 

So, why do people do this, is it hunger, pleasure or something else ? People eat to cover up emotions that they cannot express, they even in some cases do it, hidden from the world, alone and can be in large amounts, hundreds of calories within seconds. Nobody can deny that eating can be a pleasurable moment and you can become addicted to this moment. It is how you live this problem, that makes the difference, if you eat a piece of chocolate after your meal and you don’t feel guilty, there is nothing wrong, it is not a problem, the problem is when you eat between meal times which make you feel bad, it becomes an obsession and a feeling of shame and guilty. People who have this problem do not eat because they are hungry or the love for a special food, food is the answer to an emotional state within, it is important that the person who does this starts to eat because you want to eat, not because they are sad or nervous or have had a bad day, a line has to be drawn regarding using food as a prize, if this is the only prize they  receive,  they have a problem, it needs to be replaced with something more appropriate.

We eat how we live, when we go through a bad patch in our daily life, the food that we eat can also go through a bad patch. People who tend to attack food, need to reconstruct their lives as they will find that they live within a certain amount of caos. The job of a professional in this area we look to find a new form of equilibrium and this takes time and needs discipline to change the way of life without falling into the trap of being on a permanent diet. In these cases a diet can cause more problems as people who suffer from this type of disorder can be attached to diets !! They will have tried everything and every type of diet that is out there.

Most of the people who suffer with this, have various things in common they will all tend to seek approbation in everything they do, and from everyone around them, which is an attempt to cover up the low esteem they feel for themselves. They have difficulty in saying NO, they do not know how to lose weight or diet correctly and take on many other tasks, they tend to help caring for others and forget about their own necessities. When in therapy they are taught to confront these in abilities , therapy will also help for them to see how life can be enjoyed and that they are not machines for doing other things. They should learn to delegate within there work and home. They need to respect themselves and to make sure that those around them also feel that respect, all these things can change the life of a person who suffers from this type of disorder.

At the excellent age of 93, Maria Dolores Pradera sadly died in Madrid Spain, her last professional performance was only less than three years ago, known as one of the best bolero singers in Spain, will be truly missed, here is a wonderful collection of some of her work. This talented singer and actress was born in August of 1924 in Madrid.
