This is such a wonderful time of the year, the perfect moment to reflect on you and the choices you are going to make for the coming months, find a beautiful shady spot where you can relax  and enjoy your time arranging your days ahead . 

It is also the perfect time of the year to enjoy the wonderful choice of salads, if you have home-grown  lettuce, keep it  super fresh by when slightly damp, wrap it in a tea towel and keep it in the vegetable drawer of your fridge, this helps to keep it, just like the first day…..

We still need to give a little extra love and care to our fresh flowers within the home, try to keep them in semi-shade and a fresh place where the hot air does not reach, they love to be as cool as you .

A perfect time to introduce a little red or orange into your home, according to Feng Shui these type of colours will inject vitality into your space, the key is not to over do it, just a little here and there, maybe a cushion or some flowers, a burganvilla is perfect for outside and will fill your garden all year round with the right colour. 

Mix certain pieces together that give that  balance of colour and patterns, there is nothing more original than your personal touch , it truly brings out your spirit and can look great on your dinning table, when you mix and match your plates and glasses, it’s a great solution if you don’t have a full set of something and you can pop in odd little pieces that you love !

When playing and experimenting with floral displays, you can use all kinds of objects, a fabulous piece to use is an old bird-cage, they can look great with a plant inside or fresh flowers, you can use it inside or you can hang it in a tree in the garden, they are definite eye catchers and are so effective. It is an original idea !

September is also the perfect month for organising, magazines books a simple basket is ideal for this job, they look so well put together nice and neat, they also look great in a bathroom for towels and soaps..

It is also a great time of the year to make your own jams etc., save some special jars and make your own label, nothing is more personal and cute than a well written stylish label……

A center piece will always gain more strength when we add different shades of apples, this display has a definite autumn flavour to it and will set the mood within your home, , this really is a big way to welcome in this new season , this type of display can be so simple, they just need a few autumn bits and pieces……………
