Anne Frank – Was born in Frankfort on the 12th June 1929, into a jewish family. The Frank family, Otto, Edith Margot and Ana emigrated to Amsterdam in 1933, where in 1941 they were kept in the back of an office block , Ana started to write at the age of 13, and in her short carer wrote a diary and a number of tales. On the 4th August 1944 the Frank family were detained by the Gestapo, and were first sent to Westerbork and then deported on the 3rd September of 1944 to the concentration camp of Auschwitz. Ana and her sister Margot were finally sent at the end of October to Bergen-Belsen where they both died. Otto Frank the only survivor offered in 1947 the diary of his daughter for publication, a testament to the memory of more than one million Jewish children killed during this terrible time.

How could a young girl know how true her words would be.Remember this quote and take strength from it during you week.
