It is that time of the year again, springtime, spring clean and let’s do a de-clutter at the same time, there is nothing more liberating than the feeling of knowing that you have successfully de-cluttered and maybe even helped others at the same time!
It can be done in many ways, but when we write down your goals, why do you want to get organized? What do you want to accomplish? Make the big decision on what you are going to do with your things, the charity shop, urban clothes bins, etc., there are so many places to donate and of course, make others happy on the way, ask a friend round to help you, their input is fantastic, they are not personally involved in your things and it is easier for them to be less objective and cuts the job in half, don’t go into buying more clutter as in organizing supplies!! Know what you want at the end of your de-clutter session, what kind of room you want and how it is going to look, see it in your mind and go for it, cut make on your mail, envelopes, and masses of paper, get online with your banking, etc and have a paperless post, as for your clothes, which may be the worst section to do, just keep telling yourself, if you don’t love it, wear it or us it, let it go….
Have a great de-clutter and bring that spring clean on!
