What would you do if one day you were confronted with the question, what would you include on a list of necessities ? We never really think of these things as we have such an abundance of everything that would take care of lifes necessities, you could write a very long list… but in fact we need relatively few essential things, clean water, food, hygiene , fresh air , clothing , some form of shelter , exercise, love and a feeling of freedom. We also need to be one to one with nature, this would help to keep stress down. Today we forget about nature being a natural healer, for many things, we can take a pill for this a pill for that !! Nature can give you energy when your on low gas, it offers tranquility to the busy mind and uplifts are spirit , and all you need to do is give a little of your time and attention.
If you are not close to a beautiful forest abundant in nature, or live in the country side, you may be lucky enough to have a park where you live, and failing that a window box, a garden, even a flower stall can bring the gift that nature offers you, if you stop and take in the beauty, there is no other way to observe life than through nature. The healing spirit of nature stirs within many places. It can also be seen and heard in the singing of the birds, the secret to inner peace and harmony is to feel consciously of all these things.
If you are feeling stressed, to be at one with nature is a wonderful way to unwind, and relax. To lose yourself in the sensations of the moment.
When we take an holistic approach, it enables us to strengthen our own self healing ability. Some of us are born stronger than others that we cannot deny, but, we can all improve our health with a positive outlook , what we need to be clear on is that none of us should be a slave to stress. Other factors are what we eat, clean water that we drink and of course the air we breath, and of course we need to love our spiritual being.
