Who are you ? Have you noticed how everyday we find people who have no idea who they are, they are seeking so desperately their personal identity, they look for plastic surgeons, Botox anything to peel make the years, or to become who they think they are not, people enter into the wrong relationships again trying to find their own identity through someone else, so how do we find peace with ourselves ?
If we look through magazines or view the TV, people become obsessed with being the actor they follow on the screen, the look they think is forever, really deep down, do you not find it sad to see your favourite characters looking like wax dummies, no natural smile, no facial expression, they just seek to be youthful 24/7, is this really life, is that what we are about ? Have we become a society just based on glamour fantasy ? Many solutions nowadays are to quick to available to us, we acquire breast implants, we have problems, take a pill, we want to be thinner we have liposuction. We live in a world of use and throw away !out with the old and in with the new, and that includes our wives ad husbands, how easy now to walk away, what happened to working things through, giving things a chance a try in life ? We have more money, which creates more things and when we get older and a little line appears, we get Botox……………….
So what are we looking for ? do you know, do we know as a society ? If you really study these actors,singers etc., do you think they really find true happiness, in their everyday life and personal life, I would think a big majority would say NO, they are so under the pressure of what people want to see, are they thin, do they eat, do they suffer an eating disorder, because she cannot define her own identity, they are all searching for this vision of the impossible human, perfect, no one is perfect in this sense, we can be perfect to our partners, and that is fine, that is what matters, because are partner is happy with us as individuals and not a fabricated product, you know we all sleep and have to wake in the morning ! and we all have bad days…………even actors and magazine models.
What about your self – identity ? what can you do, to encourage a healthy identity. You need to acknowledge your inner self, and trust your inner sense to guide you when needed, we all know right from wrong, what we like and what we don’t, so why would we do other wise, accept that your intuition is on, your personal GPS to guide you through storms and turbulent times in your life, and be brave enough to ask for help if needed, keep to your values and get your priorities right, treat yourself how you wish to be treated, when you enter into a relationship with another person, it is important, that YOU show up, not someone you would like to be, being you is great, you are worthy of wonderful things in your life, you may have suffered previously in your relationships , you may have deep emotional hurt,abuse etc., this is not going to be your life pattern, leave it behind, file it away,accept what happened but move forward with a positive and open mind, you are not a victim, learn from the past and enter into a healthy relationship, change your life and that of others, you deserve this and much more.
