Christmas is not all joy and happiness for some people, in fact some people have a difficult time at Christmas, they find it a time to be very emotional, don’t worry too much about this if your suffer from the odd tear escaping! There are many moments during your year when this emotional state bubbles from the feet up, it can be seeing your child sing or win at a sports event, it can be a film that just hits that spot, it can even be an article you read, we are all sensitive human beings, some more than others.

 Christmas can also be hard for people who have lost someone, we become melancholy and our memory love’s to go on a trip down memory lane, however we could help ourselves a little here, by remembering lovely cherished moments, at least our tears are then happy tears, if you have this urge to cry, it is best to have your moment, the longer you try to hold it in, the more pressure you put yourself under, we all have loved ones that have departed and loved ones who will not be present, but, we must all know that they are in our hearts and us with them, Christmas is two days, but obviously the build up to Christmas for most of us is a big thing.

Christmas is many things, but children can be a great focal point, and they should have a happy and joyful time,it is not a good thing that they associate Christmas with sadness, so maybe if we are fortunate enough to have them around, we can pull strength together for them and ourselves.
