It is so important that you learn the importance of helping yourself, at times when others try to help, their advice can be taken the wrong way and great misunderstandings can take place, especially if it is someone very close to us, frequently when we need help and depending on what, we look for someone to blame, and our loved one’s are to close for comfort and they receive all the heavy weight artillery from us. However we must never forget to take are own responsibility, don’t shoot me down, just yet, I know in many cases it was not our fault, what actually happened to create your need of help, but, we have to take responsibility for not letting go, we keep it with us, in some form or another, and again ,I know depending on circumstances things differ, but, we do have a percentage of responsibility, we have responsibility for our life now, this present moment, and as you know we all have choices, and this is one we need to make, as hard as it sounds, and there are cases that could have been our fault. This depends on why we need help. Do you trust yourself to make that choice ?
This is where the importance of knowing ourselves well, plays a very significant role, and if you feel you don’t, you need to give attention to this, at times it can help by making a list, like a pros/cons list, one side can hold all the things you know you are, with no doubts in your mind, caring, loving, sensitive, adventurous what ever it may be and then on the other side a list of things you are not so sure of, by doing this you will see for yourself in writing, you don’t have to retain it in your mind, making reference to this list you can start to work on those things, and if you truly want to help yourself you will, if you don’t you will continue to wait for others to do that job for you. No one can ever help you more than yourself.
I know that many of you will not agree with the above quote, but it is true, this is not necessarily referring to the time of your problem, this is now, their is a Universal Law, that I personally mention very often, The Law of Allowance, many things happen to all of us during our life time, and the only person that can put the degree of hurt is ourselves, there is no magic wand, but, when we decide to live our life on our terms and not that of another or their actions, when we decide to take our life back, we empower ourselves and take power away from what troubles us, The Law of Allowance, will help you with that, you accept what happened, because we can’t change that outcome, it is in the past, but when we accept or allow, we can let it go, this does not mean that we agree, we are not making any agreement, we are allowing, by doing so, you are setting yourself free, you reclaim your life…….remember you allow not agree, you have finished with it, it is filed away, you are in control of your life and thoughts, nobody else.
Would you, get into a car with someone who has no driving license or who was in no condition to drive…………….I hope you have said NO, so tell me is it not better that you do the driving. You are the responsibility of that driving, and this driving is your life. It is hard for us to realise this, but we all do it, at some point in our life, we make our own decisions and we make that choice, nobody is free of needing help with something at some time in their life, but, we have to be the first to help ourselves, focus on yourself, you are worthy and you deserve to be happy and have a good life, the more you focus on why you need help, the bigger and more importance it is getting, so give that time and energy to yourself.
Do not allow others to judge you and you must not judge either, do not blame yourself or others, get to know and accept yourself, forgive and help yourself overcome insecurities, respect yourself protect yourself and love yourself.
If you would like to read about the Universal Laws, I have a post from the 16.03.2016,17.03.2016 & 18.03.2016 on this blog, titled Universal Laws.
