Can you be water, for just one day ? With time we become more rigid, we take on more and more daily responsibilities and we develop more opinions. So, if you could change from being the dominator of all situations, and practise being water, flow where there is a passage way, an opening, a little way out, flow just like water, you would be much more smooth and tolerant with others opinions, you could interfere less, no orders just listen when someone states their opinion, you could respond with ” I had never thought of that, thank you for your suggestion, I will think about it” Give yourself permission to be more flexible, adaptable, to flow into places you could not go before, as you were solid and hard.
Feel free today, to flow and flow smoothly in the lives of the persons that cross your path today, Imagine that you can get into their minds to understand them better, you also benefit from this.
Keep your feeling and sensation of being water with you as long as possible today, and see the change in your relationships with others.

I just fell in love with reading your articles!

This reminds me of Bruce Lees quote on water” …accept myself by going with and not against my nature.” Lovely post.

I’m old school. Grew up watching his films with my cousin who had posters all over his room. 🙂

Now that’s a very intriguing and interesting thing to try ! And makes perfect sense – not so sure about getting into somebody’s mind though. Feels invasive without their permission.

Its more on, how they would be feeling, I would’nt want anyone in my mind either but pleased you found it interesting.

I didn’t think you would be suggesting such an invasive thing, maybe it’s just the way I interpreted it. The notion of flowing effortlessly like water is a good metaphor 🙂

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” – Bruce Lee
