Christmas is such a lovely time for many of us, but, what exactly does it mean ? for each and every one of us, I think that for many it is the excitement of family, it is a time for families to celebrate together this special time of the year, obviously for little one’s it is the excitement of Santa and his wonderful journey, and how does he get down that chimney ! especially if you don’t have one It’s magical for them, and the build up is tremendous, they believe and make their special little wishes, many of us have a tradition of putting up the tree, our homes are filled with fairy lights and pretty baubles, wreaths will adorn our doors, and our normal home becomes special and magical within it’s self, the darker afternoons help with the atmosphere of the magic to come,the nativity scene is also set,and we await the birth of baby Jesus,the shepherds,animals and the Three Kings of the Orient gather around the stable under the wonderful star of Bethlehem we all hold different traditions and believes,but,whatever it may be it all creates this special time. To have our family together around a table, no matter how grand is the important factor, love is shared,laughter can be heard, whatever is going on in our life, this special time allows the feeling of love to flow, our dearest no longer with us are remembered, with warm hearts and happy memories, everyone holds their special place, but should be remembered with love not sadness. Christmas is a time for giving, we can offer our love, and strength to the ones that need it, we can offer support and understanding, we are in the moment, in the now, this can mean more than any other gift, the gift of ourselves is worth more than anything else, we are all worthy of this each and every one of us. Where ever you may be during these holidays, don’t forget the people you love, they need you as much as you need them. We are all connected in some form and one of our great purposes of are time here is to feel with the heart and soul we have been given and to share this in the form of love.

We all need a magic wand at Christmas time, 23 days to go !!
This is a time to enjoy, no stress, anxiety, so stop all this worry, and plan a little ahead. This is when a list is most important, you all know I like my lists.
So pen and paper at the ready, here are some of the things you may need to list:
If you are having your family at home this christmas to eat, list everything you wish to have on your table, tick away at what you have and underline what you need to buy (this is also a way to save, without a list, you will buy lots of things you do not need) Don’t forget the drinks section and mixers.I personally also list my table-cloth,napkins,glasses,candles plates everything I intend to use on the day, and I have them ready standing to attention and shinning a week before ! This saves me time on the day, as I know everything is ready and perfect, down to the last detail.
Gifts, now this is a big one, we cannot forget anybody, also a list can turn a long day into a shorter version, if you have a list, and know what you are looking for, you will not be distracted by the shiny objects (and there is a lot of that around at christmas time!) the list will keep you focused on the job at hand. Don’t get anxious ……….
The bits and pieces ? Wrapping paper, tape, ribbons,cards,extra kitchen roll (always need that) tin foil don’t forget the bathrooms,and the big favourite batteries!! If you buy gifts that need batteries buy them don’t forget this one. This is more or less what I list, but you will all know what should be on your’s, so, if you really wish to glide through christmas under no pressure, make your list, stick to it and most important, don’t forget it when you for your shopping !!!
Well, I’m sorry we are here, it’s December and Christmas is not going to go away, yes it’s that month………
So here is my count down, only 24 days to go, before the most magical night of the year, so let’s get into the Christmas spirit !
Here we go……..count down time, it’s so exciting………..

Saturday, we are now on the official countdown to Christmas, magic begins to fill the air, we see it every where we go, our homes begin to shine with tiny little fairy lights and the magic starts to grow within the minds of the children ……….happy times !!
