Well, as you can see I’m still here, under all this water, how wonderful it is ……….the electric went of half way through the night, that was nice this morning, and really fresh ! Nothing like a fresh frozen start to the day, well it has still not stopped raining, my garden has disappeared along with my driveway and the water at the moment is just about level with my car door………I have been outside opening all the main water grids, to get as much water away as possible, the lounge still looks like an indoor pool just need to start thinking of where to install the diving board. Today is supposed to be the worst day, and reducing by night fall, we will see. There has been various river banks given way in the Alicante province, and the houses in that area will be totally flooded, so maybe I should be thankful it is only my lounge,……at the moment.One good point is, that my well will be totally full, I have never been without water,but it will certainly not be on the cards at the moment or coming summer, however I do think it will have damaged the olive crops, they were nearly ready to be picked, this amount of torrential rain will probably leave them with nothing…and of course I will be out to empty all my plant pots as soon as it is over raining, as to not let the roots rot, in water left in the pots…….do we really need this right on Christmas, I have ten for lunch on Christmas day, and as you know I have a list for this and a list for that, everything is catered for, but this, has put a spook in the wheel as they say, I can’t stop seeing ducks instead of guests !! so I am really hoping if I keep sing, rain rain go away, it just might do that……………

Just before the big week starts, just thought we could not leave out the King !

Ok, so, which of you wished for an indoor pool ?, sorry to tell you guys, it has been delivered to the wrong address….I know this is a bit over played, (it’s not quite so bad) but to my surprise this morning, my lounge looked slightly different ! We have had torrential rain here for the last two days, very heavy, and a corner of my little roof decided to share the outside elements with me, how about that, how lucky can you get, right above my beautiful TV, which would give me no good or bad news this morning !! I can cope with that and hopefully my go to guy tomorrow will be able to beam it back into action, I think it is suffering a damp problem as opposed to drowning, lets keep are fingers crossed on that one, my curtains very kindly took in the water, which has protected it, however, once they could hold no more, the water very happily creeped across my floor, inviting the carpet and couch for a little swim, you would think they could resist in December, but sadly they were tempted and decided to go for it, so the mop and I have become great buddies this afternoon and decided to join forces !!

I can’t go up onto the roof, as it is still pouring down, but the main problem is it is  far to slippery, so I have to put the lovely job of, untill it is a little drier……hope that is not to far away, if it keeps up, maybe I can install a water park slide for Santa and he can give the chimney a miss…. luckily my Christmas tree and friends are in no danger at the moment as I have a few bucket friends on duty  catching the rain as it enters, oh what fun on a Sunday afternoon, you see there is always something to keep us busy !! personally I would have chosen a few alternatives, but, there you go, this was on the cards for me today, and as if that was not enough my laptop is  giving me the silent treatment, is that really necessary, is it my fault, another trip tomorrow to resolve that, I have reset, pressed every button I can find, but not a sweek, my little icon is showing 100% sound, but, no, nada, nothing, not a song, not a video just silence, they say silence is golden, but, today I would love to hear from it…..so, I can tell you my Sunday is perfect (maybe I should whisper that, just in case something else is edging to manifest for me today)
