Today has been, just that, a Happy Day, it is my Mother’s birthday, and I have dedicated my day to her, I went to collect her this morning, and of we went to have morning coffee in the town square, the weather is still very warm here, and the trees are still full of lush green leaves, giving shade where needed,to the coffee shop chairs and tables, it was busy with people coming and going and the general hum of chit chat as people settled with there “cafe” and morning pastries…. a perfect meditterean morning, a lovely birthday morning for my Mother, how lucky we both are to still be together and to have each other for what ever we may need.

After giving her my birthday gift, which she loved and was perfect for her, we set of to the nearby town, for a little shopping, as we started to return, I surprised her with a lunch invitation with me, at my home, she loved that idea and I could see how pleased see was, we had a lovely lunch and chat, I later took her home, where I am sure she will have a little rest….a well deserved rest, when we spend time like this with our loved one’s, it really does make us realise how lucky we all are to have each other, never waste an opportunity to make someone who is near to you happy, these little moments mean so much………………….
