HOLDING ON TO THAT GRUDGE !……….
What is the point of holding on to that grudge, when the person who hurts the most is you, it breaks into every part of your life, as it is something you give thought to on a frequent basis, being in your thoughts, makes it present in your life ! So therefore you suffer more than the person you wish to direct your grudge at. you become a prisoner of your own acts and thoughts, when you feel so badly about someone or a situation you concentrate on only the bad, did this person never do any good ? have you thought of that, of maybe all the wonderful times and good things you may have shared, so some one does something wrong and it is “off with the head “………..holding on to anger can only create for you severe suffering and there you are expecting the other to die, who is killing who ? When you hold onto this type of anger it can be seen on the outside for the world to see, which is maybe what you wish for, but, never forget it cannot be seen in the inside where all the damage is being done.
Life really is too short, but we do not always realise this until years go by and we become more conscious of the time, we may have left here or not ? when you are holding on to a grudge you are wasting your time,when it could be happy time, you could be happy if you choose to let go, you/we cannot change things from the past, we need to live in the present and enjoy that time, that we have, no one has a guarantee of time.
People you cause hurt to others are only allowing themselves to drown deeper and deeper on each passing day and the situation becomes worse and worse. The person who keeps a grudge going is lacking greatly in character, when you decide to let go, you release yourself of that tremendous weight you have been carrying.
