In my part of the world we are going through the winter, and yes this year it has been cold, it may only be for a couple of days or weeks, we certainly to do not have months of cold typical winter weather, we are very fortunate and in general we can count the really cold days on our hands………….however when those days arrive, what do you do , what do you choose, do you make the correct choice, without it affecting you and your mood………..when I look out of my window I can already see Almond Blossom on the trees ,not all of them but the first show of this delicate little pink and white flower can be seen across the country side.

You may have noticed that this kind of weather can create a reaction within us, we look in the mirror and some of us can see a tired face glaring back at us, Christmas can really take it out of you, especially if you have catered for a family or friends, it is not only the physical part we put into it, it is the mental side also, that just leaves us drained, we need to rest and restore those high quality batteries, ready and prepared to take on the first quarter of this year, setting us up in a A star position, Once January and the first half of February is behind us we start to notice the change in the air, and we start to enjoy a little more outside life and sunshine, did you know that the light alone of our wonderful sunshine can fill us with energy and automatically bring us into good vibes and moods………….we see the world through a much better lens……….and our general feeling is more up beat and we are much more eager to get out there and accomplish things, we wish to share are spurt of energy and well being, we even start to eat in a different way, the menu becomes lighter , the down side is we then leave the darkness of the winter to start worrying about our body and the bikini time that is quickly approaching !! We simply change one concern for another, so, when are we going to start to except who and what and how we are, we are unique and beautiful in our own way, if we weigh 5 kilos more or less have we changed…the answer should be or would be NO…………..the only thing that should concern us is our health and not all problems are permanant , it is true to say that without our health we are affected in a big way, weight or even age does not. And, the sooner we come to terms with that the better, loving yourself the way you are has to be one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
