How often do you stop to admire the beauty of a flower, many of us do, but sadly many never even realise that a flower is beautiful, if we compare a person with a flower, you will see that many take an eternity to open up and be who they wish to be, they do not bloom until a much later age and some never at all, just the same as the one’s who flower far before they should !!The secret to a beautiful flower and being able to appreciate everything it brings to us, we need patience….just like in a relationship we need to feed it slowly with love and nourishment to enable it to flourish just like a flower needs water.

Flowers again like people can bring out many reactions within us, we can feel emotion, love even sadness by looking at certain flowers and people, at times when we buy flowers and display them in our home, we have a good feeling, a well-being just the same as when we are with people we also enjoy. When we have a bad day, and we feel that things are going wrong, at times we can look at the beauty within flowers and instantly feel better. Happiness radiates the fragrance from a flower and draws all good things towards you, flowers or people can’t resolve all problems, but they can be a great start.

A flower can show love, a love that has to be allowed to grow, at times we wish to say many things and for some reason it is always better when said with flowers, different flowers have different meanings. All of them having their own emotions and expression.

Take time as you go through your day, take in what you have around you and appreciate the beauty that be hidden within or in full focus, when we learn to appreciate what and who we have around us, our life can be become a happier and more enjoyable place ❤

  1. What a beautiful analogy! I think also of the statement “a flower does not compare itself to other flowers. It simply blooms.” Sometimes early as you speak of here, sometimes late. Other times, unfortunately, never. Love this 💕

  2. My grandmother was the first person in my life to show me the beauty of flowers. She said they had faces and some would travel to other places and call it home. To this day when I see some of her favorites I tell myself it’s her way of saying hello.

    Thank you for this. Excellent!!!
