You may feel that if you have a pessimist attitude, it is a permanent fixture in your life, this is not true, A pessimist can learn to be an optimist by learning new habits, it is not that difficult, it’s just a case of explaining to yourself another way of doing things.

When an optimist is looking for another step up in their working field, they have more possibility of doing so than a pessimist, They usually have excellent health, they grow older better by feeling more free than others of their age, and studies show they live longer. 

Our ideas and thoughts are not simple reactions in front of an event, these thoughts and ideas change the consequence.A prime example would be ” Nothing I do has importance” this is enough to stop an action, when we underestimate our importance, there will always be forces that will take control. I also think that a pessimist can trap and depress us easier, we reach results that are not on par with our potential, when someone is usually a pessimist, they show a weaker human.

As you already know, a person can choose what they want to think,we make that decision nobody else, so when we come across brick walls and holes in the road, to make situations difficult or to hold us back, an optimistic thought is far better than a pessimist thought, as what we think comes to pass, if you can learn to modify your thoughts at these times, you can overcome problems and situations, thinking “I am this way, there is something in me that always brings me to lose everything” and you think that because others don’t give in as quickly, achieve what they want. It is not purely this, it is their whole thought and thinking system, they believe in themselves, I ask you, is your glass half empty or half full ?

For an optimist, failure does not exist, it is just a brief delay, a little obstacle on the road to final success. How do you see it, are you a true optimist ?

  1. I like to think of myself as an optimist, but maybe a part time one. I’m often going down but then have to remind myself of what I have and pick myself up again when I’m feeling low. It’s a constant effort to stay optimistic. But I try. 🙂

  2. I am a realist…any given situation I try to read the reality behind it and thus the outcome. Loved your post especially this line, our ideas and thoughts are not simple reactions in front of an event, these thoughts and ideas change the consequence
