Had to think about this, as I didn’t want to get confused between what makes me happy and what makes me laugh…knowing that my sons are healthy and happy makes me happy. My cats make me happy. Writing makes me happy. ( By the way, rubbish jokes make me laugh…my current favourite is – what do you call an exploding monkey? A ba-BOOM! Obviously it’s a hypothetical monkey…)

very nice distinguished happiness and laugh. I was sometimes confused if ‘some momentary joy’, can called happiness.

At times it is, but we all come back to the everyday things we have around us, and realise our true happiness are things we have everyday all around us, and are with us always.

I agree with samanthamurdochblog–all those things make me happy plus my dogs and daughter instead of sons. But what also makes me happy is a beautiful sunset or a cool breeze on a warm day or a baby’s laughter. Simple things that remind me that life is beautiful
