Care for yourself – inside and out………….
So, whats your great secret, to be so fantastic and still keep a sense of humour !! the correct answer would be, something like this, healthy food, exercise, keeping a healthy mind and clear eye, these are probably the basics for being great.
How and when you start your day is important, you should rise full of energy, and early…..take at least 20 mins for yourself, welcome yourself into the world, then a little exercise, this does not have to be vigorous, a good stretch maybe yoga or meditate, clear your vision for the day, personally I do 5 eating moments a day, I don’t say meals because I could not do five, Breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack and dinner….I keep mainly to a mediterranean diet and find it works well for me, cereals,fruit,salads,vegetables,fish I do eat meat but very little, purely by choice, I am not a great meat lover.
It is so important to take care of ourselves if we wish to get older without health problems, most of us today, manage to stay looking good and healthy, nothing to compare from generations gone by, our way of thinking and living are so different from that maybe even of our mothers, we are younger in spirit and want to look younger, but how do we get this image ?
Some food we should avoid, they can actually age us, and others will keep us younger looking in body and mind. We should not become couch potatoes or become over weight, and less stress will always help, the good news is that now we do have a vast amount of tools and knowledge to help our body and mind to be younger in appearance and health wise. We should live with vitality and optimism and always sleep the required hours to repair ourselves during that time. I am hoping over the next few weeks to give you a little information regarding these points. Lets get ready for the winter months or maybe the summer months depending where you are ? 30 40 50 or 60 and so on and so on, age is just a number, that is my understanding, and I am sticking with it, so follow me on a Friday to a healthy body and mind journey.
